Final Fantasy XII Story
Final Fantasy XII takes place in the world of Ivalice, a place that may be far too familiar with those who have played Final Fantasy Tactics. A good chunk of the game takes place in the Kingdom of Dalmasca, a small city-state that is in the world of Ivalice. In Ivalice there have been past wars between the Kingdoms of Archadia and Rosaria. During these wars, Dalmasca decided to stay neutral. However, Dalmasca was ultimately conquered by Archadia and reduced to the status of an occupied state under Archadian rule.
In Dalmasca's capital, Rabanastre, there is a boy named Vaan who decided to join the underground Dalmascan resistance movement and participated on an assault of the castle that is controlled by Archadian troops. During all this, Vaan eventually meets with Ashe, deposed princess of Dalmasca who has become the leader of the resistance group.
